Best Natural Remedies for Staph Infection on Skin...

QUESTION:

Hi, can you please tell me if there is a way to get rid of a staph skin infection on my face, apart from the awful antibiotics GP's throw at you. I have broken out at the side of my nose near my eye and also just above my eyelid. I also have swelling going down my face and over my cheekbone. Dr said it's fluid because the spots are swelling my eye up? Blah blah...

ANSWER:

Hi April, and thanks for your question regarding your staph infection.

There are basically two ways to get rid of an MRSA staph infection naturally... internally and externally. And you really need both if you want to treat it properly and get rid of the infection for good!

Here's 6 of the best ways to do this...

#1. Turmeric: Turmeric really does work well for staph infections as its a powerful anti-inflammatory and antiseptic. Its anti-bacterial properties are second to none, which is why it's the #1 choice in Ayurvedic medicine. Use it internally and externally by first taking a teaspoon twice daily with some black peppercorns (black pepper increases the effectiveness of turmeric significantly) or taking a turmeric extract supplement.

As a topical remedy, mix some turmeric together with some Manuka honey and apply on the affected area. Leave on for as long as possible before gently rinsing off.

#2. Manuka honey: Manuka honey is also a very potent bacterial killer and works extremely well for staph infections, particulary MRSA staph infections. Once again, use this internally by consuming one tablespoon twice daily, along with applying it to the infected area with the turmeric.

#3. Garlic: Good old garlic kills just about anything! And it definitely works a treat for staph infections. Chop up the fresh cloves and use them in your cooking as much as you possibly can.

#4. Olive leaf extract or colloidal silver: Both of these are strong bacterial and viral
killers and work especially well on antibiotic resistant infections. In fact, many European hospitals are now using olive leaf extract to treat MRSA infections. Take internally by following the directions on the bottle.

#5. Apple cider vinegar (ACV): Apple cider vinegar is an excellent internal and external remedy for staph infection due to its strong antibiotic and anti-inflammatory properties. It helps to kill the bacteria quickly, along with boosting the immune system to stop further infections. Using ACV topically will also work to heal and clear up any lesions quite rapidly.

So mix equal amounts of raw, unfiltered apple cider vinegar with some clean filtered water. Use the solution to clean your lesions once to twice daily. In addition, add 1 to 2 tablespoons of raw, organic ACV to a glass of warm filtered water and drink twice a day. You can also add some Manuka honey to the mix as well for extra benefit and taste.

#6. Oregano oil and tea tree oil: Both of these are exceptional anti-bacterials.

For the tea tree oil, place 2-3 drops of essential oil on a moistened cotton swab and dab on the infected area. Leave on for 2 to 3 hours before washing it off. Alternatively, mix a few drops in with some Manuka honey. Apply it to the infected areas and also leave on for 2-3 hours before gently washing off. With the tea tree oil, only use it externally though for your skin lesions.

With the oregano oil, dilute 8-10 drops with 2 tablespoons of olive oil. Apply it to your lesions and leave on for as long as possible before washing off. Continue to re-apply several times per day. In addition, mix 5 drops of the oil in a glass of water or fruit juice and drink twice daily for one to two weeks.

So I hope these help you out April!

Good luck and all the best to you,

Regards
