Top 5 Natural Remedies for Nasal Polyps...

QUESTION:

Is there an effective natural cure for nasal polyps, or at least a way to shrink them? Thank you for this informative site!

ANSWER:

For those who don't know, nasal polyps are non-cancerous growths found near the sinuses in the nasal cavity. Many people who suffer from nasal polyps also suffer from asthma and allergies as these are closely linked. There are 3 basic underlying factors that cause nasal polyps - yeast infections and parasites, mould, and poor diet. To successfully treat and cure nasal polyps, these three things must be addressed and remedied.

Here's some of the best ways to do this...

Home Remedy for Nasal Polyps #1... Fix Your Diet: Getting rid of yeast infections and parasites, along with building up the immune system is crucial for shrinking nasal polyps. A raw food diet or at least limiting the amount of cooked foods you eat is extremely important. Yeast fungus feeds off sugar so any foods that contain sugar must be eliminated. All refined and processed foods and drinks should be avoided at all costs (this includes all milk products). Be sure to follow the candida diet to eliminate all yeast fungus from your body... The Candida Diet.

Taking a good quality probiotic supplement is a powerful way to destroy yeast fungus throughout the body as well so make sure you do this. Also, look into culturing and fermenting your own foods for an extra strong supply of probiotics (you can never have too much of these essential bacteria). Here's a handy website with everything you need to know on how to go about culturing your own foods... Cultures for Health.

In addition to these, start taking some high strength olive leaf extract or oregano oil (or both) to kill off all parasites in the body. You want all of these nasty little critters gone so the body can begin repairing itself and shrinking your nasal polyps. They both work a treat!

Finally, use as many "immune building" herbs and spices as you can. Building up your immunity is vital for eliminating nasal polyps. Garlic, cayenne pepper, turmeric, ginger, oregano, rosemary and bell peppers are all excellent immune boosters so use them in your cooking as much as possible. This turmeric milk tea is also a terrific immune booster... Turmeric Tea Recipe - WellnessMama.

Natural Remedy for Nasal Polyps #2... Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV): Apple cider vinegar helps to boost the immune system, cultivate the supply of probiotics, and increase the body's pH level (which helps to kill yeast fungus). It's one of natures best "cure all" medicines so make sure you use it.

For internal use, mix a tablespoon
of raw organic ACV (must still contain the "mother" apple) in a glass of warm filtered water and drink twice daily before food. Or as an alternative, you can take the ACV capsules if you don't like the taste of the liquid.

For external relief, add a tablespoon of organic apple cider vinegar to a large cup of boiled water. Place a towel over your head then lean over the cup and breathe in the steam through your nose. Repeat this daily as needed.

Natural Treatment for Nasal Polyps #3... Tea Tree Oil: Good old tea tree oil works extremely well for nasal polyps. It's a very potent bacterial, fungal and viral killer. There are a couple of ways to use the tea tree oil so you get the most out of it. Firstly, apply the oil directly to the polyp with a Qtip (cotton bud) 2-3 times daily. Secondly, empty a nasal spray bottle and refill with around 70% distilled water and 30% tea tree oil. You can also add 2-3 drops of castor oil for extra benefit as well (castor oil is also anti-bacterial, anti-viral and anti-fungal). Spray a few pumps up each nostril twice daily. The polyp(s) will usually fall off and be gone in around 7-10 days.

Natural Cure for Nasal Polyps #4... Hydrogen Peroxide: Hydrogen peroxide quickly kills the parasites and candida that cause nasal polyps. This stuff is amazing and works extremely well. All you do is take a Q-tip and dip it in some 3% grade hydrogen peroxide then apply it directly to the polyp(s). You can also combine it with colloidal silver for an even more powerful polyps remedy. Be sure to use this treatment twice daily for best results.

In addition to this, use the Hydrogen Peroxide Inhalation Method made famous by Bill Munro. This protocol is a "must use". Have a read of this article for all the in's and out's on this incredible cure... Hydrogen Peroxide Inhalation Method by Bill Munro.

The hydrogen peroxide therapy works so well that you'll notice your nasal polyps starting to shrink within a few days!

Home Remedy for Nasal Polyps #5... Get Rid of Mould: Mould and mildew have been linked to sinus infections and nasal polyps. Make sure you get rid of any mould or mildew that's in the house. Dust, along with animal dander can also exacerbate nasal polyps and sinusitis as well so try and eliminate these too if you can.

So hopefully these tips and remedies help you out and you finally get rid of those awful nasal polyps.

Good luck and all the best to you!

Does ACV cause any side effects when using a neti pot?
by: Ravneet

Thanks for the info ... For sinus (nasal polyps) can we use apple cider vinegar for doing a neti? For instance, two glasses of water mixed with 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar, then pour the resultant solution in a Jal neti pot and rinse. Would this be harmful or have any side effects?

ACV is perfectly safe to use internally and externally! There is no harm at all. The only "side effect" you may experience is a slight stinging at the beginning. You can read more about using ACV for sinus problems here... 8 Strong Natural Remedies for a Sinus Infection.

Hope this helps.

All the best!

Lacto-Bacto
by: Anonymous

Google "lacto-bacto" and you'll find a site with a story about how a man found remarkable relief from sinus problems by swabbing kimchi juice into his nostrils. Having had a post-nasal drip for so long that I have lung problems, I eagerly tried it using Farmhouse California style from Whole Foods Market (it was on a list of brands that contain lactobacillus sakei). Turns out, human sinus cavities need good bacteria just like our intestines and this one bacterium can "crowd out" damaging fungal overgrowth's. The results for me were miraculous! My sinuses have NEVER been this clear. I'm so glad I found out about this. He has a list of other brands that people have shared with him that they have found effective as well. Hope this helps.

ACV treated my Nasal Polyps
by: Vipan

I suffered from Nasal Polyps for more than three years. I had surgery to remove them however after 5 months they came back. I was not able to breathe and smell anything. I would always have headaches. I used Neti pots and all kind of sprays but these did not help. Then, I was on this Weight loss program where I would have to drink Apple Cider Vinegar in warm water before food. Fortunately, my nasal polyps disappeared after 5 days. I can now breath and smell normally. Please give this a try!
